Ran crew of 5-15 people. Managed budgeting, scenic build and automation for seasons of 14 shows. Ran Creative Conners gear (Pushsticks, revolver, and a hydraulic lift). Programmed and adjusted for any automation issues.
Assistant Technical Director Zach Theatre, Austin, TX 2013-2014
Helped maintain budgets, build and calendar. Ordered materials and worked closely with vendors on special projects. Worked with a plastics company to build custom boxes for 3 light portals for Tommy. Worked as a lead carpenter for the install of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in Austin TX.
Draftsman Global Scenic Services, Bridgeport, CT 2012-2013
Drafted scenic build drawings in 3D, wrote and ran CNC router files for Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, fashion shows, and window displays.
Technical Director Peach State Summer Theatre, Valdosta, GA 2010-2011
Maintained budgets, calendar, build, and drafting for two seasons. Managed three shows in repertory with 6 to 20 people working changeovers and strike. Planned layouts for scenery storage when another show was running to allow for efficient shifts.

Researched new safety supplies and safety issues. Was in charge of filing Workman’s Comp forms and responsible for setting up appointments for employees. Maintained all files and checked First Aid kits, fire extinguishers, and eye wash stations.

Worked as a Technical Director and Assistant Technical Director on multiple shows. Taught Advanced Stagecraft classes as well as an Electrics class. Responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling and research. Created ways to attach scenery to rented scaffolding for Rent. Developed load in and strike schedules and oversaw crews. Used a Hudson Scenic deck winch and DWU to automate a Murphy bed for The Drowsy Chaperone.
